Privacy policy – Eazign for WooCommerce
1. Controller

This policy covers the WordPress plugin "Eazign" and the service Eazign for WooCommerce (woo.eazign.at). The website eazign.at has its own policy at eazign.at/en/privacy/.
2. Roles
We are the controller for the data of store operators (account, billing).
We process the data of a store's end customers (their designs) on behalf of the store operator as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR, eazign.at/en/wordpress/dpa/). The store is the controller towards its end customers.
3. What the plugin sends
The plugin sends nothing before you click "Connect with Eazign".
When connecting: the store's address, name, language and currency, the administrator's email address and a WooCommerce REST key. We store the key encrypted (AES-256) and use it only to create designer products and product images in your store.
When you edit blanks and motifs: their data, photos and images.
When end customers design: uploaded images, texts and the finished design. The designer is loaded from woo.eazign.at in the visitor's browser, so our server technically receives the visitor's IP address, which we do not store.
For paid orders with a design: order id, order number and line item ids – no names, addresses or payment data.
4. Payment through Paddle
Plans are sold by our reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom, as a separate controller. You enter payment and billing details directly at Paddle; Paddle's privacy policy applies (paddle.com/legal/privacy).
From Paddle we receive only the subscription status, plan, period and Paddle's customer and subscription ids – no card or bank details.
5. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service and billing (contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)), retention duties (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
We use no cookies, no analytics or advertising tools and do not sell data.
6. Recipients and location
Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg: servers, file storage and backups in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1), as processor.
Paddle (see section 4).
We do not transfer data to third countries.
7. Retention
Designs that were not ordered and unused uploads are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Designs and print files of ordered products are kept while the store is connected. The store erases end-customer data of individual orders with the WordPress tool "Erase personal data"; the plugin passes the erasure on to us.
48 hours after the plugin is disconnected or deleted, we delete all of the store's data. Registrations that were never connected are deleted after 24 hours.
Database backups are deleted automatically after 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection: write to info@eazign.at. End customers should first contact the store they ordered from.

9. Note for store operators
Mention Eazign in your store's privacy policy. The plugin suggests a text under Settings → Privacy.
